Jet Carrying Pete Hegseth Forced to Touch Down in UK Because of Fracture in Cockpit Window

An aircraft carrying Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth was forced to make an emergency landing in the Britain on Wednesday following a fracture was discovered in the aircraft's cockpit window, as stated by an announcement which confirmed that the secretary was unharmed.

"The jet landed following standard protocol and all individuals on the flight, including Secretary Hegseth, is secure," a spokesperson commented in a social media post.

Hegseth was returning from a quick journey to Brussels at the time.

This event isn't the first time that a United States armed forces jet carrying a senior official has encountered mechanical issues.

Months ago, a US Air Force plane transporting Secretary of State Marco Rubio to Munich was required to turn back to Washington after experiencing a technical issue.
